PRINCE2 Project Capability
  • PRINCE2 3d Foundation     The ever popular and de facto standard qualification for those in or aspiring to enter into project management.  Providing a comprehensive grounding in the principles, themes, processes, procedures and techniques which comprise this methodology, you will gain a lot from taking this course.  The 1 hour exam on day 3 is a multiple choice exam which tests you on your learning retention and recall.
  • PRINCE2 2d Practitioner    This is the qualification to take if you want to have credibility as a Project Manager and is the standard required by a lot of employers, as a sign that you are able to walk the walk.  Doing the preparation is a must if you want to increase your chances of passing this 2½ hour exam, which tests your ability to intelligently apply the learning to a case study and is a realistic reflection of what this it could be like in projects that you take on board.
  • PRINCE2 5d Combined        These 5 days will give you both the Foundation and Practitioner qualifications if you complete the pre course work, participate attentively in the group work and learning, and of course, do the homework (between 2 – 4 hours each evening) diligently.
  • PRINCE2 Tools and Techniques   This 1 day course is for project team members, project administrators, project planners and project co-ordinators, as it will take you through key techniques involved in project delivery.  Guiding you on a journey you will develop skills and be able to apply these in projects you become involved in.
  • Managing Education Projects Successfully  For all staff in the education sector who wish to lead and manage change, this 2 day course will help you look at your own skill set and develop areas which will increase your ability to bring in change projects successfully.

 

 

Line Manager Capability

- A two day course aimed at managers or supervisors either new to management or who have had no formal management training.

- A one-day course aimed at all levels of employee, that increases awareness of different types of assertiveness behaviour, ways to change from one type to another and how to create win-win situations.

- A one-day course aimed at all levels of employee, that raises awareness of time stealers, the need for a helicopter approach, strategies to improve time management and ways to improve self confidence through increased effectiveness.

- A one or two day course. The one day course is aimed at all supervisors and first line managers and aims to create an awareness of the workplace, dangers of lax rules, what type of discipline works well, how to manage an incident and embed discipline and reducing liability in potential cases for ET.
- The two day course is aimed at second and third line managers and is designed to explore the judgemental process involved in taking cases past the first level, through to summary dismissal. It uses case studies to explore the ways cases were handled and improvement points.

- A two-day workshop aimed at all levels of employee, that raises awareness of the need for effective recruitment practice, its legislative background, emergent legislation, the resourcing process, interviewing skills and how to prevent potential claims.
